Cathy Jo McNeil went home to be with the Lord on January 13th, 2014. Cathy was a very loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She loved being a Nana most of all. Cathy was a long time server at Acapulco Joe’s and was most recently a caregiver. She loved to cook and spend time with her family. She was a member of Crosspointe Baptist Church and loved the Lord. She was a true inspiration to all who knew her. She many times encourages her family after her cancer diagnosis, showing them how to handle adversity while leaning on the promises of God. She is survived by her husband, Robert; daughter, Angel Hubbard (Phillip Moreno); son, Jonathan; stepdaughter, Theresa; stepson, Marty; grandchildren, Isaac, Junior, Ryan, and Claudia; sisters, Sandy (Sam) Meadows, Toni Thurman, Peggy (Tommy) Martin, and Tammy Hubbard (Kim Anderson); brother, Mike (Barbara) Lillard; father-in-law, Bob (Nancy) McNeil; mother-in-law, Diane Mediate; sister-in-law, Kimberly Carroll; step-brother-in-law, Steven (Trina); and many nieces and nephews. Cathy was preceded in death by her parents, William and Erma Lillard; brother and sister-in-law, Larry and Herbie Lillard; grandmother, Margaret Moore; and step-father-in-law, Rocco Mediate. Cathy left this earth peacefully at home, surrounded by family. ~2nd Timothy 4: 6-8~
